Should the Iran nuclear treaty be considered a diplomatic win for the United States?
The recent Iran nuclear agreement aims to limit Iran's uranium enrichment capabilities in exchange for sanctions relief. Supporters argue it reduces the threat of a nuclear-armed Iran through diplomacy rather than military action. Critics contend it gives Iran economic leverage without sufficient verification mechanisms and fails to address Iran's broader regional activities, including support for proxy groups. The deal has drawn comparisons to the 2015 JCPOA, which the US withdrew from in 2018.

I believe this new agreement should be considered a loss for the United States. In essence, the US spend billions of dollars in lost/delayed goods due to the closed Strait, only for an agreement that was in place prior to the conflict.
